What happens if someone who loves eating can simply stop getting full?

MAD EATER is an AI-made absurd science-fiction serial, published as two-to-four-minute vertical shorts on TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

The series is complete: nine episodes, from a restaurant buffet to a galactic energy program.

A man builds a machine that keeps the nutrition his body needs and transfers the rest somewhere else.

The machine works.

He can keep eating.

That is where the trouble starts.

01 / One man

He likes food. His stomach is the problem.

02 / One machine

It sends away what his body does not need.

03 / Everything else

The consequences keep getting bigger.

00 Eat forever

At first, he only wants to eat more.

He goes to an expensive restaurant and eats through an absurd amount of food.

A billionaire notices the machine.

The offers begin:

$100 million.

$1 billion.

$10 billion.

He still refuses.

Eventually, he starts a club.

Membership is not decided by net worth.

First, you have to prove how much you can eat.

Episode 2 cover: food pouring from an industrial pipe into a city while a man in a suit is carried away by the stream.
EP02 The premise at full volume. What started as a private problem with dinner becomes a force that can redirect a city, and then a planet.

01 The club

The club fills with billionaires, politicians, celebrities, officials, and other people who are very used to getting what they want.

They eat.

And keep eating.

But the food does not simply disappear.

The machine sends it elsewhere.

At first, that looks useful.

Hunger falls.

Then ordinary people start gaining weight without eating.

The club begins influencing how much food the world produces.

Eating becomes part of status.

People train their jaws.

Faces change.

A machine built so one person could have another course of dinner has somehow become everybody else’s problem.

Episode 5 cover: a giant billboard showing a suited man above a crowd filming him with phones.
EP05 A club becomes a caste system. Membership is no longer about money; it is about demonstrated capacity, and the rest of the world is told to keep eating without it.

02 It keeps getting bigger

People resist.

A war starts.

Both sides eventually discover that eating itself can be used as a weapon.

Then aliens arrive.

They reveal that the machine is using a form of space-transfer technology that never belonged to Earth in the first place.

Episode 8 cover: a small uniformed figure in a peaked cap reading from a tablet, explosions and aircraft filling the sky behind.
EP08 The turn the title promised. Overeating stops being a terrestrial inconvenience and becomes the reason the planet meets its visitors.

That should probably be the point where the story gets smaller.

It does not.

Starts here

RESTAURANT
One man / one machine

Gets worse

EARTH
Club / food system / war

Keeps going

GALAXY
Aliens / prisons / revolutions

Prison planets.

Galactic war.

Animal revolution.

Meat revolution.

The scale keeps changing, but the basic joke stays simple:

all of this started because one guy wanted to keep eating.

03 Making it

MAD EATER is built largely with generative image and video tools, then assembled through editing, voice, sound, and a lot of continuity repair.

The practical limitation is simple: generative video is usually much better at producing a few useful seconds than an entire scene.

So the series is made in pieces.

The model givesThe edit has to rebuild
short clipsscenes
separate performancesconversations
changing locationscontinuity
fragmentsepisodes

A conversation may be generated as separate shots for each character.

A five-second piece of action may need to carry part of a much longer scene.

Concretely: video, voice, and stills are generated with Jimeng’s Seedance model, and every generated shot carries a single action lasting four to five seconds. EP08 was planned as 45 numbered shots and EP09 as 76 — compressed into roughly fifty generated clips across the two episodes. UI screens, news captions, and data curves are finished in post instead of being generated.

News broadcasts, surveillance footage, newspapers, public announcements, and fast montage appear constantly because they work both as storytelling devices and as ways to connect material that could never be generated as one continuous take.

The process is less about asking a model to “make a film” and more about finding enough usable pieces to make the film in the edit.

04 Where it ends

MAD EATER was not planned from the beginning as a giant universe.

It started with:

one man,

one machine,

and one very small wish:

keep eating.

Then every solution created a bigger problem.

A restaurant became a club.

The club became a world system.

The world reached the galaxy.

That was the final scale.

Nine episodes. The story ends here.
